Roblox · Discord · YouTubeA VPN for Roblox: what changed in 2026
The game itself works without a VPN again, but Discord for team chat and YouTube guides are still restricted in Russia. KRLINK opens them — the first 3 days are free.

Roblox is open again, but not fully
Roblox was blocked in Russia on December 3, 2025, and in June 2026 the game started working without a VPN again after an agreement with Russian authorities. Text and voice chat stay disabled for users in Russia.
Important: Roblox bans accounts for signing in with a spoofed location, so it's best to turn the VPN off in the game itself. To talk to friends and watch guides and streams, KRLINK opens Discord and YouTube — they're still restricted in Russia.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a VPN for Roblox in 2026?
Not for the game itself: since June 2026 Roblox works in Russia without a VPN. A VPN is useful for talking to friends on Discord and watching guides on YouTube.
Can Roblox ban me for using a VPN?
Yes. Roblox bans accounts for signing in with a spoofed location, so it's best to keep the VPN off in the game.
Why doesn't Roblox chat work?
Roblox itself disabled text and voice chat for users in Russia. Getting around it with a VPN isn't worth the risk of a ban — Discord, which works through KRLINK, is the better place to talk.
What if Roblox won't start?
Sometimes the game can't connect because of an outage at Roblox or your provider — it usually clears up within a few hours. status.roblox.com shows the current server status.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. New users get 3 days and 30 GB of traffic free, once. Just sign up at kr-link.net and press one button in your account. After that it's 250 ₽ a month or 650 ₽ for 3 months, with unlimited traffic.
