Why Discord doesn't work in Russia
Roskomnadzor blocked Discord on October 8, 2024. Without a VPN the app keeps connecting forever, voice channels don't connect, and streams and screen sharing won't start.
KRLINK connects Discord through European servers. The Hysteria2 protocol carries UDP — which Discord's voice and video run on — so the connection doesn't break.

Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't Discord work in Russia?
Roskomnadzor has blocked Discord since October 8, 2024. Through a VPN the app reaches its servers via Europe and works as before.
How do I set up a VPN for Discord on a computer?
Install Happ for Windows or macOS, add the link from your account and turn on TUN mode — then all programs go through the VPN, not just the browser. Without this mode the Discord desktop app may not connect.
Will voice channels and streams work?
Yes. Discord's voice and video use UDP, and the Hysteria2 protocol carries it. Traffic on the subscription is unlimited.
Does a VPN affect ping in games?
Traffic goes through Europe, so latency in games may go up slightly. On Russia Bypass profiles Russian addresses go through Russian servers.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. New users get 3 days and 30 GB of traffic free, once. Just sign up at kr-link.net and press one button in your account. After that it's 250 ₽ a month or 650 ₽ for 3 months, with unlimited traffic.
